Job summary

Carbon Health in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Board-certified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our national network. This role features a four-day work week, no call, and holidays off, enabling you to focus on patient care and personal well-being while leveraging our AI-powered CarbyOS EHR.

You’ll provide comprehensive adult care, lead a team of MAs and support staff, and participate in clinical research where capabilities allow.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified MD/DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Unrestricted DEA license; licensed to practice in your state.
  • Patient-centered, relationship-driven care.
  • Comfortable with women’s health services.
  • Familiar with AI-powered EHR and tech-driven care.
  • BLS certification is required before start date.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient-focused history and physical exams.
  • Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears.
  • Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans.
  • Care for adult patients (no pediatrics).
  • Interpret x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
  • Lead MA/support staff and supervise PAs/NPs.
  • Manage a patient panel with emphasis on quality outcomes.
