Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician II in Plant City, FL. The role involves hands-on maintenance of forklifts, high-speed doors, HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and building upkeep to ensure top performance and safety.

The position requires basic mechanical and electrical skills, experience with Crown forklift repair, and the ability to work in varied environments. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience with industrial equipment from Crown Lift Trucks (pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, lift trucks).
• Experience repairing Crown forklift equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on forklift and related equipment.
• Read and interpret simple wiring diagrams and schematics to wire 480V 3-phase motors.
• Use basic hand tools and meters to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical issues.
