Primary Responsibilities

The Yard Driver is responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles, spotting trailers in the yard, the unloading of trailers, and performing yard checks and possible shuttles. This work will be primarily outdoors and will be exposed to the elements.

Schedule Monday - Saturday 6pm - 2am

Hours may fluctuate based on business needs, with occasional extended shifts (e.g., 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM).

Essential Functions

• Operate Tractor‑Trailer and/or straight truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate a Yard Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 years prior experience of driving experience
• Certified Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.

The associate is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
