Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking a Welder for the 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble base frames and metal components according to specifications, supporting the production schedule.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year welding experience or formal training, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience or completion of a certified welding training program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with basic welding safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/TIG welding operations to support the production schedule.
• Weld base frames and other metal components according to specifications.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Meet or exceed targets for quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and supervisors to maintain workflow.
• Participate in weekly Rittal Production System (RPS) meetings.
• Continuously improve welding skills and overall competencies.
• Support and drive 6S activities to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
