WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines, load inputs, run production lots, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Summary/Objective

The CNC machinist operates computer numerical control machines to produce parts. The CNC machinist loads inputs into the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and hearing protection is required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee will need to lift up to 50lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, 8-10 hours per day (depending on schedule) with overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school
2. One year experience in manufacturing environment
3. Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools, or capacity to be trained to do so

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Two years of related experience
2. Mazak milling and turning centers using Fusion
3. Matrix or Matrix II controls (Mazatrol and G-Code programming)
4. Open to entry level candidates who can read calipers and gauges (entry level with a solid work history)
