Job summary

Richmond Beverage Solutions is hiring warehouse operators to support fast-paced order fulfillment in a cold environment. You will perform picking, pulling, and building of orders, palletize products, and participate in loading and unloading for outgoing deliveries.

Operators will operate warehouse equipment, work in a cooler or dock setting, and may be assigned to any station or line. We value reliability, teamwork, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a dairy-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and build orders.
• Palletize products for shipment.
• Load and unload goods and stage materials for outgoing deliveries.
• Operate various material handling equipment and machinery in warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock.

Richmond Beverage Solutions has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators

to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading,

and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally,

warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and

machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
• May be exposed to nut allergens if working in ice cream plant

• Minimum six months experience in operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
• Minimum six months experience related to manufacturing environment
• Must have forklift operator's certification
• Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
