Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift at our Miami Lakes Distribution Center. You will support the movement of parts from the distribution center to customers, including operating equipment and using handheld scanners. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Base wage starts at $19.10/hour with a $.75/night shift premium. Overtime is available; excellent benefits start on day one and opportunities for growth within PSLD.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and conduct business in English.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform warehousing processes including receiving, storing, packing and shipping of parts, materials and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update receiving and order data.
• Be trained to operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Build wooden shipping containers and apply rust-preventative paint.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
