Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves patrols, access control, alarm response, and detailed reporting to keep client sites safe.

Requirements include 18+ years old, ability to stand for long periods, flu shot and TB test, high school diploma, and 1+ years of security or 2+ years of customer service experience. Training is paid at the state minimum wage where allowed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flu shot and TB test required; Provided upon hire.
• Must be able to stand long periods of time.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience.
• 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns.
• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials.
• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors).
• Assist visitors and employees professionally and enforce policies.
