Job summary

McNeilus Steel, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Truck Loading Specialist for Fond du Lac, WI. Shift runs Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 pm–2:30 am with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include moving freight, staging for shipments, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload materials.

You will read and follow customer orders, verify quantities, and ensure proper weight distribution and delivery order. Safety practices and PPE use are required at all times.

Qualifications

• Read and understand material specifications on order tickets.
• Read, write and communicate in fluent English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to and from storage and production areas.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Package and load materials onto outgoing carriers with proper weight distribution.
• Assist with loading/unloading for company and non-company carriers.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust orders and resolve discrepancies.
