3rd Shift Transaxle Test Support Technician

Job Summary:

Our client in Ann Arbor, MI is looking for a 3rd Shift Transaxle Test Support Technician. This is a direct hire/contract position.

What You Will Do:

  • Support dyno bench testing such as selecting proper patterns, downloading software, starting test, monitoring test.
  • Will need to support hourlies and data analysis.
  • Support other team members as needed.
  • Multi task jobs and other duties.

Basics:

  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE 3RD SHIFT.
  • Candidate will be training for approximately 2 week on the 2nd Shift (3-11:30pm).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Basic education is essential.
  • Technical Degree or Certification: An associate degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
  • 2+ Years bench dyno testing experience, transaxle preferred.
  • 2 ~ 5 years plus installing, removing, and repairing of transaxles in a service environment.

Preferred:

  • 2 ~ 5 years plus installing, removing, and repairing of transaxles in a service environment.
  • Experience in general automotive repair.
  • ASE Certifications.
