Job summary

JV Manufacturing in Natrona Heights, PA is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to support high-speed stamping tooling. You will read blueprints, interpret CAD drawings, set up and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment, and work with carbide and hardened steels to produce precision tooling.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive stamping experience, are proficient with GD&T, and can work independently or within a team in a clean, safety-focused shop that values

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker (progressive stamping experience preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with carbide and hardened materials.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
• Perform precision machining using manual/CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
• Work with hardened steels, carbide, and other tool steels
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and press teams to optimize die and tooling performance
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure tooling meets quality standards
• Work as a team or individual in a clean manufacturing environment.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
• Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance

Key Responsibilities
