Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to stock shelves and manage back-room tasks at our store in Michigan. You'll move products from pallets to shelves, maintain organization, and assist with customer interactions as needed.

The role emphasizes physical work, reliability, and teamwork, with overnight shifts to prepare for daily operations. Meijer values community support and career growth within a family-owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
