Job summary

Pratt Industries in Wapak Corrugator, Wapakoneta, OH is hiring a StackER Operator. Starting pay is $18.43/hour plus $0.40 shift differential, with potential increases at 90 days and six months based on performance and attendance.

The role involves operating corrugator lines, supporting the crew, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Eligible for growth and comprehensive benefits. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow factory masters and instructions.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure and basic calculations.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, or graphic instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate issues or adjustments to the appropriate personnel quickly and clearly.
• Assist the Corrugator crew to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain equipment and submit maintenance work orders as needed.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements for cost, quality, and service.
• Learn to operate backup equipment as required and verify unit counts and tagging.
• Operate corrugator conveyors and understand lineups; assist in training staff.
• Follow safety policies and keep a clean work area; take on additional duties as assigned.
