Overview

We are looking for a Han-Cho (Line-Leader) for the 3rd shift in the SRI (Sunroof Injection) Department.

The SRI Han-Cho will support the SRI Shoko-Cho’s plans to maintain productivity efficiency, ensure team member safety, develop continuous improvement activities, and implement necessary 5S or 3 Pillar activities.

Other Duties and Responsibilities of the Han-Cho Include
  1. Determine team member placement considering absenteeism.
  2. Complete PM checksheets, all final checks, PCS and QCS sheets on line sides, and daily tracking charts.
  3. Review production reports from the previous shift.
  4. Review and update the Communication Log and inform team members of abnormal situations.
  5. Discuss quality and customer issues from the previous day and address operator concerns.
  6. Complete manufacturing check sheets for the first piece.
  7. Monitor Sekisyo stand, ensuring it is clear from the previous shift, and rotate the first and final Sekisyo stand for the first piece.
  8. Perform hourly manufacturing checks and communicate issues and countermeasures.
  9. Facilitate safety communication, ensure proper ergonomics, PPE usage, evacuation knowledge, and safe practices among team members.
  10. Ensure product quality and communicate defects and actions taken.
  11. Investigate final inspection results, assist with countermeasures, and document quality issues.
  12. Investigate defective parts, report conditions to Quality, and review with team members.
  13. Assist in rework and sorting activities.
  14. Respond promptly to andons, support line operation, and perform repairs as needed.
  15. Address stop call waits and help implement short-term countermeasures to prevent future downtime.
  16. Ensure team members perform production activities following standard work.
  17. Coordinate repair of tools and verify after repair.
  18. Audit processes to ensure adherence to standardized work and proper assembly techniques.
  19. Maintain knowledge of current and new models.
  20. Assist in scheduling and documenting training for team members.
  21. Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  22. Communicate with other shifts’ Han-Cho or Shoko-Cho regarding issues such as part shortages, quality, safety, Kaizens, and machine failures.
Salary:

$24.95 per hour + $1.00/hour shift differential
