Stanley Black & Decker in Shelbyville, KY, is hiring a Set Up Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:30am) with a base pay of $22.52/hour plus a $1.50 shift premium totaling $24.02/hour. This on-site role supports a fast-paced manufacturing team in a high-demand production environment.

You will operate and set up machines, follow blueprints, and maintain product quality while adhering to safety standards. Flexible overtime and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and write English; safety and quality instructions.
• Able to perform heavy physical work 5–30 pounds.
• Overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals.
• Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI.
• Properly fill out all documentation and labels.
• Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
