Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to join the team in our downtown Cincinnati office. The role operates on the third shift (2300-0730) and involves patrols, monitoring alarms, and incident response to protect people and property.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0–4 years of related security experience, and certifications in AED/CPR and First Aid. A valid driver’s license and concealed carry license are also expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–4 years of related security experience preferred.
• Must maintain AED/CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to deter intrusions and ensure security.
• Operate and monitor security panels, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Control access and verify identification of authorized personnel.
• Maintain logs of daily activities and incidents.
