Job Description

The 3rd shift Loss Prevention Manager will oversee the daily operations of the security department, including safeguarding hotel guests, staff, and property.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all security standards are properly implemented and followed.
2. Review security reports for accuracy and timely submission.
3. Report property deficiencies and safety hazards observed.
4. Conduct thorough investigations of incidents involving guests and staff (e.g., thefts, accidents, acts of violence).
5. Maintain guest room surveillance procedures.
6. Manage an effective key control program.
7. Assign shift personnel appropriately at all times.
8. Act as Hotel Manager on Duty when required.
9. Assist and cross-train in all hotel areas as needed.
10. Ensure compliance with audit standards.
11. Possess a valid NC Driver's license and pass drug screening to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

1. Associate's Degree or equivalent qualification.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Loss Prevention or Security Management.
3. Experience in upscale establishments preferred.
4. Previous hospitality experience preferred.
5. Professionalism in guest and staff interactions required.
6. Knowledge of OSHA standards essential.
7. Experience with safety training and standards maintenance required.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
