3rd Shift Sanitation Operator

The 3rd shift Sanitation Operator will work out of our Brownwood Texas manufacturing facility from 10 PM-6 AM, and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Manage inventory of all cleaning supplies
  2. Clean all facilities in the production plant
  3. Ensure washing stations and sanitation stations are clean and stocked for the production team
  4. Complete and submit sanitation reports and documentation
  5. Maintain sanitation plan/checklist to ensure all critical areas have priority
  6. Identify and correct issues related to sanitation
  7. Support production, quality assurance, packaging and warehousing teams on various projects when needed
  8. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school, GED or equivalent
  2. Able to work nights/evenings
  3. Able to climb ladders and be exposed to conditions such as: loud noises, hot and cold temperatures, and work with hazardous equipment/materials
  4. Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  5. Must be eligible to work in the US

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Strong technical abilities
  2. Prior experience using larger manufacturing equipment, forklift certification preferred but not required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Ability to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 50 lbs.
  2. Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
  3. Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs daily
  4. Ability to operate a computer and other office technology
  5. Occasionally position self to access low spaces
  6. Ability to observe details at close range
  7. Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles, including verbal and written mechanisms
  8. Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures
  9. Occasionally position self to access low spaces
