Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking Sanitation Technicians to ensure food safety and quality by cleaning and sanitizing plant areas and equipment. You will operate power washers, steamers, and other cleaning tools while following safety procedures and the Master Sanitation Schedule.

Responsibilities include disassembly/reassembly of equipment for sanitation, adherence to PPE requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest food safety and sanitation standards.
• Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and lift up to 50lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule to clean and sanitize all areas of the plant and maintain food safety and quality.
• Operate powered cleaning equipment to keep facility and equipment spotless.
• Safely disassemble and reassemble equipment for sanitation and thorough cleaning.
