Kraft Heinz is seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Supervisor at the Champaign plant to lead sanitation programs, ensure food safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate with plant leadership, QA, and third-party providers to maintain high sanitation standards while aligning with corporate policies.

The role emphasizes leadership of hourly staff, KPI reporting, and collaboration across departments to optimize sanitation processes and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or equivalent education and experience to know sanitary production of food and government regulations regarding food operations.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Quality, Laboratory, or Production experience with emphasis on Quality Control
• Certified Sanitarian or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
• Knowledge in HACCP, Microbiology, Sanitation, Chemical Safety, Pest Control, and Quality Systems.
• Understand and align with government regulations relating to OHSA, FDA, USDA, and EPA.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Work schedule is primarily 3rd shift but be able to periodically change shifts for business needs.

Responsabilités

• Achieve sanitation compliance, safety, quality, and cost efficiency goals.
• Lead hourly sanitation staff and coordinate pest control and chemical supplier reps.
• Monitor weekly sanitation records for compliance and food safety.
• Lead sanitation improvement and expansion projects.
• Report on plant sanitation programs and KPI’s.
• Coordinate Six Sigma/Lean improvement initiatives.
