Job summary

JBS Pork is hiring a sanitation worker for the 3rd shift. You will sanitize facilities, machinery, and equipment, operate heavy equipment, and follow strict PPE and food safety protocols. The role requires lifting over 50 pounds and working at high speed in a production environment.

Candidate will perform cleaning tasks, maintain clean work areas, and adhere to JBS specifications to ensure meat quality. Reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and works as part of a team in production settings.

JBS is hiring for quality, motivated, people to join the JBS team on our sanitation as general laborers. These positions include but are not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities

• Properly maintain and sanitize facilities (casings) machinery and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Must keep work areas clean and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Must adhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality of meat.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.
• Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
