Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician in Marysville, OH. The role offers hands-on installation, alignment, and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery, with opportunities to learn/advance while earning competitive pay.

You will read schematics, use precision tools, and document work in CMMS systems. Must have a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience, with travel possible as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and as part of a team for more complex work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues, escalating concerns as needed.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support repairs or component replacements.
• Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and installation tasks.
• Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs during training.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.
