Purpose

To perform the production process in order to optimize the use of all resources in meeting and/or exceeding established plant goals and client/customer expectations.

  • Title: Return Line Operator
  • Status: Hourly
  • Location: Toccoa
  • Department: Production
  • Reports To: Mill Supervisor
Essential Functions
  • Identify parts and colors
  • Complete and enter quality checks within Infinity
  • Print tickets for completed pallets for shipping
  • Operate machine, produce quality products, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Follow safety, quality, production, materials, and plant policies
  • Demonstrate behavior aligned with plant expectations and CITE principles
  • Complete training for operation of assigned area
  • Setup drills on the correct program according to parts being run
  • Turn drills off when parts do not need drilling
  • Work scheduled hours as necessary to meet client/customer needs
  • Operate necessary computer software
  • Train new or backup operators using peer trainer tools
  • Maintain daily 5S/clean-up in your area
  • Participate in Kaizen, TPM, and cross-functional events
  • Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED preferred; extensive process knowledge may substitute. Manufacturing experience and willingness to learn required. Support team goals and demonstrate core values. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook preferred.

Physical and Working Conditions

Regularly required to see, hear, crouch, stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and walk. Indoor/outdoor environment with moderate to high noise levels, requiring hearing and safety protection. Overtime as needed.
