Job summary

Belle Aire Creations in Round Lake Park, IL seeks a Quality & Scheduling Lead for the 3rd shift. You will validate raw materials, oversee production, and schedule sample batches using manufacturing software. You will coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; higher education preferred.
• Three years of QC/production or analytical lab experience.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of GMPs in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with common PC applications.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Cognitive reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling sample work as directed by Operations managers.
• Email confirmations of priority sample completions and status to BAC staff.
• Be point of contact for 3rd shift sample lab and QC lab functions.
• Responsible for sample lab and QC productivity via regular reporting.
• Perform manual testing of rush samples.
• Test and verify incoming raw materials for identity and release.
• Conduct preliminary odor evaluations on finished batches.
• Pull micro samples for laboratory testing.
• Load samples onto GC machines for analysis.
• Conduct viscosity and pH testing as required.
• Quarantine materials out of specification and oversee disposal.
• Oversee safe work practices and PTO adherence.
