Job summary

Astemo is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technical Associate to verify mass production quality systems are running properly and ensure quality records are completed accurately. The role supports root cause analysis, line audits, and quality improvements while aligning with lean manufacturing goals in a factory setting with minimal travel.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, PDCA cycles, and monthly quality checks, with a focus on maintaining high standards and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets required to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Line Support – Line Calls.
• Line/Station and QCS/MCS Audits.
• In-house Changes PDCA (Abnormals, Quality Alerts, TWI’s).
• Quality Improvement PDCA (Line Improvement meetings, PCN).
• Perform/Record/Evaluate Monthly Quality Specification Checks.
• IATF Auditing.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
