Job summary

CACI is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Florida for 3rd shift (7:00 am–5:30 pm, Fri–Mon). You will inspect mechanical parts, PCBAs, cables, and optical components to ensure products meet stringent IPC/ MIL-STD requirements.

The role emphasizes data recording, nonconformance handling, and process audits. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electronics inspection, knowledge of ESD controls, and the ability to obtain IPC/J-STD certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inspection experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace/defense.
• Experience inspecting PCBAs, cables, optical components a plus.
• Ability to obtain J-STD 001, IPC-610, IPC-620 certifications.
• Knowledge of ESD S20.20 and ESD control.
• Must be organized, proactive, independent and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and determine acceptability of custom fabricated mechanical parts and electrical assemblies (PCBAs and cables).
• Use engineering drawings or process documentation to perform inspections.
• Perform incoming, in-process, final, and pre-ship inspections; ensure conformance to standards.
• Record inspection results and input data into the quality management system.
• Communicate inspection results and offer improvement suggestions.
• Generate nonconformance reports and perform minor dispositioning for rework or scrap.
• Execute process audits in production or inspection areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality.
