Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a 3rd shift In Process Inspector to ensure all SOPs are followed and quality standards are met in the finishing operations for roll labels. You will operate the Rotoflex and tabletop rewind machines, set up the Vision System, and conduct 100% inspections on computerized materials.

You will also perform start-up verifications, assist with reprints and labeling, and help mentor new inspectors while contributing to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience performing in-process inspection to QA standards.
• Familiarity with finishing/label handling processes.
• Ability to mentor and train new inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOPs and work instructions are current and followed.
• Operate finishing equipment for roll labels and ensure quality.
• Perform start-up/re-start verifications of computerized runs.
• Conduct 100% visual inspection and reject non-conforming labels.
• Count labels accurately for shipping and client requirements.
• Assist with packaging and labeling of released materials.
• Mentor new inspectors and support department policies.
• Maintain safe and efficient work practices.
