Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of a more complex and possibly multi-line production operation and monitors colleague productivity.
• Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans, and performance criteria.
• Runs shift meetings, confirms production progress, and responds to delays.
• Creates and implements group improvement plans.
• Ensures the team understands roles and responsibilities as they relate to the team and to Greif.
• Encourages joint problem solving, safety, and individual development.
• Supports Greif's mission, follows values, and works to improve Greif's business.
• Enforces compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Arranges work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex or advanced issues that arise.
