Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Group is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at the Smyrna, TN Wesanco ZSi Strut Plant. The role directs shift teams, maintains safety, and ensures training completion while meeting safety, quality, and cost goals.

Qualifications include 2–5 years in manufacturing, familiarity with ERP and BOM/WO processes, and lean techniques; a business or engineering degree is preferred. Strong leadership and MS Office skills are expected.

• Understand ERP, BOM, work orders, inventory control.
• Lean techniques knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift personnel, ensure safety and training completion.
• Meet daily production schedules with safety, quality and cost targets.
• Hire, develop, review performance; create development plans.
• Provide hands-on training and mentoring.
• Ensure Quality and Environmental Management System compliance.
• Coordinate with support functions to meet schedules.
• Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
• Address downtime and quality issues promptly.
• Contain nonconforming product and RID process.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
