Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a 24/7 continuous chemical processing plant in Batavia, IL. The role oversees ~12 operators on the floor, balancing field leadership with control room oversight and scheduling tasks. You will shape how the new three-shift operation runs.

Responsibilities include batch scheduling, material handling, safety ownership, and shift documentation. A strong background in continuous chemical processing and on-site decision making is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision of a crew on a continuous chemical processing line.
• Experience with continuous processes and automation in chemical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with safety systems and process safety management (PSM) exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct a crew of roughly a dozen operators across multiple process areas.
• Foresee issues, decide on deviations, and coordinate actions when needed.
• Set batch schedules and verify raw material inventory; coordinate inbound tanker unloads.
