Job summary

Greif Packaging is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 pm–5:30 am. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, with a broad scope of routine production duties and safety compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of related experience. You will operate machinery, measure parts, maintain logs, and uphold quality and safety standards in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Up to 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
