Job summary

Alkegen currently seeks a manufacturing/operator to support our production lines in Rochester, NH. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork while contributing to high‑quality output on 12‑hour shifts.

You will operate production machinery, follow procedures, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read instructions, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery and mobile equipment safely.
• Comfortable reading and following written instructions, safety guidelines, and SOPs.
• Willingness to work overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment safely (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts, floor sweepers, and power washers).
• Perform confined space entry procedures when required (entrant or attendant).
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in all work areas.
• Support safety initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Work overtime and 12-hour shifts as needed while adhering to policies.
