Job summary

FXI, a leading foam innovator, seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Fort Wayne facility. You will lead a union workforce, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production, and coordinate daily scheduling and training.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing, a degree or on-the-job equivalent, and familiarity with SAP/ERP. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English required.
• Degree in Management or related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee training is completed completely and timely.
• Enforce safety processes and protocols.
• Enter absences and vacation into ADP.
• Evaluate employee performance and pursue corrective action for rule violations.
• Complete Hourly Performance Reviews.
• Notify management of employee issues promptly.
• Distribute and channel orders through production areas.
• Adjust manpower as required by production.
• Maintain the daily production schedule.
• Plan and coordinate production of quality foam at the lowest cost.
• Investigate and address problems in the production area.
• Maximize foam yield and control overtime.
