Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a dependable Production Helper to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. This hands-on role supports the Gemini machine by unloading parts, grinding and finishing metal components, and sorting completed orders.

You will read basic blueprints, use measuring tools, handle parts safely, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following documented procedures. Previous manufacturing or metalworking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, metalworking, grinding, or fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and work around metal and sharp objects.
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Ability to learn and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and assist in different production areas as needed.
• Previous overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a dependable Production Helper to join our manufacturing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the First Operations Manager, the Production Helper primarily supports production at the Gemini machine by unloading parts, grinding and finishing metal components, and sorting and counting completed orders.

This position may also assist in other production departments based on business needs.
