Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Processing Specialist for the 3rd shift at our Kansas City Service Center. You will receive steel, bend or cut it with lasers or saws, then clean, inspect, and load parts for shipment to customers.

The role runs 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday–Friday, with starting pay of $22.00 per hour plus shift differential and a range of benefits. This is an on-site position in New Century, KS, with opportunities for overtime and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• 18+ years old
• Basic math skills
• Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Receive material (steel) and turn it into parts by bending or cutting with lasers or saws
• Inspect parts after processing and prepare them for loading onto trucks
• Support safe work practices and follow safety policies
