Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply is seeking a Processing Specialist to transform raw steel into customer-ready parts by bending or cutting with lasers or saws, followed by cleaning and inspection prior to shipment.

You will work the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.), face an environment with exposure to the elements, and contribute to a safety-focused culture by following all safety policies.

Processing Specialists receive material (steel) and turn it into parts that our customers order by bending or cutting it with lasers and/or saws before cleaning it, inspecting it, and loading it on trucks to be shipped to the customer. This position helps the company create a culture of safety by following all safety policies and safe work practices.

What can you expect from the job?

• 3rd shift – 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., Monday-Friday
• Exposure to the elements
• Dirty working conditions
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical or machinery parts
• Moderately stressful and constantly changing work environment
• Lots of walking and standing – up to 8 hours a day
• Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51lbs.

What are the requirements?

Pay And Benefits

• Starting pay of $19.50 an hour plus $2.50 shift differential
• Quarterly profit sharing bonus opportunity
• Opportunity for merit increase every 90 days based on performance
