Job summary

Aroplax Corporation is seeking a production start-up technician for injection molding processes in Minnesota. You will ensure accurate process parameters per job/work order and meet quality control requirements.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, cycling and adjusting robots, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining repeatable processes through proper documentation and collaboration with engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years injection molding processing experience and/or training.
• Understanding of various plastic resins, properties, handling requirements, and identification to ensure correct material usage and quality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Safety shoes required with reimbursement per company policy.
• Employee must supply own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up of injection molding machines throughout shift, adhering to production schedule.
• Respond to machine, robot or auxiliary equipment alarms promptly.
• Cycle and adjust robots/pickers as required while maintaining end-of-arm tooling.
• Troubleshoot process and quality issues.
• Ensure mold cleaning schedules are adhered to during the production shift.
• Document daily process changes and update process documents for repeatability.
• Ensure cycle times and scrap rates are within identified range.
• Partner with engineering on continuous improvement of processes and equipment.
• Provide work direction to set-up technicians as needed.
• Serve as back-up set-up technician as needed.

• Requires a minimum of 2 years injection molding processing experience and/or training
• Demonstrate understanding of various plastic resins, including their properties, handling requirements, and proper identification to ensure correct material usage and maintain product quality.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Basic math and computer skills
• Safety shoes are required for this position and are eligible for reimbursement per the Company's Safety Footwear Reimbursement policy.
• Employee must supply own hand tools when performing this position.
