Job summary

Taylor Corporation in North Mankato, MN is seeking a Press / Print Operating Technician for the 3rd shift (5:00pm – 5:00am). This full-time role requires working Monday–Wednesday with every other Sunday, and rotating 3–4 day weeks. The hourly range is $25.00–$30.00, with actual pay depending on experience and location.

You will set up presses, monitor quality, maintain logs, and follow safety guidelines while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude.
• Basic math to read ruler and calculate label dimensions.
• Ability to operate equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders.
• Ability to communicate professionally.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed job orders and correct errors promptly.
• Set up/adjust presses for job runs to meet specs.
• Monitor product quality and correct issues as needed.
• Monitor equipment and refer issues to maintenance as necessary.
• Initiate startup and run jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Complete with accuracy related logs and paperwork.
• General: Manufacturing Tech III, Printer 6+ large format high speed multi-color and multi-process.
