Job summary

Tegra Medical in Franklin, MA is seeking a Third Shift Machine Operator-I. This full-time, hourly role involves operating production equipment, following blueprints, and ensuring product quality.

The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a high-precision manufacturing environment. The role includes first piece and in-process inspections, ERP transactions, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints/drawings is desirable.
• 1-2 years’ industrial experience in manufacturing/machine operating is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, efficient and productive work habit
• Good mechanical and math aptitude, understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, etc.).
• Maintains a high standard of quality.
• Performs first piece and in process inspection(s).
• Keeps record of all inspections and parts run.
• Strive to maximize efficiency and improve quality.
• Perform ERP system transactions.
• Flexible with the ability to change job priorities as instructed.
• Cross-functional tasks to support a continuously improving environment.
• Run both manual and CNC controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
