Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a 3rd Shift Powder Paint Operator for our Jonesboro, AR facility. The role runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with a $1.00 per hour shift premium on the 3rd shift. Benefits start on day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, HSA, and more.

Required: high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related work experience, and ability to work overtime including Saturdays. Stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
• Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates paint, powder coat, and finishing equipment to produce specified finish on Apex products.
• Follows standard operating procedures or special instructions.
• Maintains amperage, speed, temperatures, and chemicals to meet specifications.
• Performs quality and thickness testing.
• Cleans and flushes tanks periodically.
• Handles, packs, and moves material; completes preventive maintenance schedule.
