Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a 3rd Shift Polishing Technician in New Haven, IN. The role involves polishing and finishing tasks on super abrasive tools, operating polishing equipment, and maintaining quality standards on a full-time 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 8pm-6am). Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs. Must pass background check and drug screen; some weekend work may be required.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic polishing and finishing tasks on tools and components.
• Operate polishing equipment according to established procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and quality standards for all polishing operations.
• Clean and prepare parts before and after polishing.
• Visually inspect finished parts and use basic measuring tools to verify quality and finish requirements.
• Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process irregularities to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Assist with material handling, part movement, and production workflow as directed.
• Accurately record time and production information in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Work safely around rotating equipment, abrasive materials, dust, and noise.
• Support production goals while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards for all polishing operations

• Visually inspect finished parts and use basic measuring tools to verify quality and finish requirements
• Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or process irregularities to supervision
