Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a printing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plates per procedures and quality standards.
• Inspect plates and maintain documentation for plate specifications.
• Review and assemble necessary elements for Production per procedures.
• Verify plates against job paperwork prior to release from the department.
• Create plate jackets and label standard folders and maintain filing systems.
• Review plate jackets for completeness upon return from Production and identify missing or damaged plates.
• Communicate with Graphics and Scheduling to prioritize jobs to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition per quality and safety standards.
