Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Plant Sanitarian to perform on-site sanitation tasks, including equipment cleaning, in a third shift position in Livingston, CA. You will work in a wet, hot, and humid environment and may lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires flexibility around weekends and seasonal production schedules.

Candidates should be comfortable with LOTO procedures and operating sanitation-related equipment. Training, benefits, and competitive pay are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sanitation tasks.
• Ability to adapt to varying daily activities in a manufacturing setting.
• Good reading and writing skills with a desire to learn and improve.
• Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene guidelines; experience in plant production helpful, especially in food environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment with hand and power tools.
• Clean with chemicals and understand their use and purpose.
• Document task completion on the sanitation schedule.
• Operate Genie Boom, scissor lift, floor scrubber, and power washer/ice blaster.
