Job summary

Athens Services in Sun Valley is seeking a Plant Maintenance Cleaner to maintain clean facilities and equipment at our MRF and plant sites. You will perform detailed cleaning of conveyors, decks, exhaust systems, tunnels, and buildings, ensuring optimal operation and safety on site.

The role requires physical stamina, good communication, and safety awareness, and operates on a 3:00PM–11:30PM schedule with alternating Saturdays, offering competitive wages and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform physical requirements up to 25 lbs.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• Safety conscious and able to stand for long shifts.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean MRF equipment (conveyor, beds, head & tail pulley) from debris to ensure proper function.
• Clean MRF equipment (shaker upper & lower decks) from debris to ensure proper function.
• Clean exhaust fans and replace air & carbon filters as needed.
• Clean conveyor tunnels from debris to ensure proper function.
• Clean walking floor tunnels from debris to ensure proper function.
• Clean sweeps underneath conveyors.
• Clean MRF buildings from dust and debris.
