Job summary

Leadpoint Business Services is hiring a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician for a recycling facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will maintain conveyors, shredders, and heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical/electrical maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 5PM–1:30AM with occasional Saturdays. OSHA safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in industrial, mechanical, or electrical maintenance; recycling/manufacturing background preferred.
• Experience maintaining conveyor systems and heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections on plant machinery to ensure optimal function.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical/hydraulic issues on balers, shredders, conveyors, forklifts, and trailers.
• Assists senior technicians with equipment maintenance and new machinery commissioning.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows OSHA and safety standards.
• Collaborates with operators to identify issues and suggest improvements; supports inventory management.
