Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL seeks a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician to set up, clean, and maintain equipment, and run processes under supervision with proper documentation per cGMP guidelines.

Responsibilities include following policies, maintaining a safe environment, preparing for process requirements, noting quality issues, reviewing batch records, and ensuring accurate status reporting to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and follow verbal and written operating instructions.
• Write clearly to explain deviations in process.
• Perform basic math and measurements during workflows.
• Operate tools, machines, and safety devices used in pharmaceutical ops.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow department policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Complete documentation and supporting data per cGMP policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Develop systematic work habits and organizational skills.
• Prepare for process requirements following supervisor instruction.
• Note quality issues and address with appropriate people.
• Review procedures and batch records and suggest improvements.
• Provide accurate material and equipment status reports during handoffs.
