The 3rd Shift Part Time Automated Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket or computer screen, using a pre-determined conveyor or pallet, while traveling throughout the warehouse's pick area. The role requires working safely, accurately, and efficiently, maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards. It also involves building stable pallets of products, meeting or exceeding warehouse and company expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist and facilitate case picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines, adhering to safety procedures and policies, multi-tasking, and making sound decisions in a noisy and time-sensitive environment.
• Collaborate within a team to coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes.
• Adapt to different work areas and maintain knowledge of operations in areas such as HQS, Semi-Automated Lanes, Pallet Pick, and Flow Rack.
• Assist in daily warehouse housekeeping and maintenance, including trash removal, debris cleanup, and waste recycling protocols.
• Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control inventory and minimize shrinkage.
• Perform miscellaneous activities to support warehouse operations in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate within a team.
• Ability to interpret instructions from a computer screen.
• Attention to detail and package differentiation skills.
• Ability to work in noisy, non-climate-controlled environments.
• Self-starter with initiative and proactive attitude.
• Flexibility regarding schedules and hours based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
