Job summary

Bastian Automation is seeking a Painter to perform painting of material handling equipment and assist with assembly and fabrication tasks in the shop. The role emphasizes producing high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and thickness requirements.

The position requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and about 1 year of wet paint experience, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a 3rd shift. Overtime may be necessary and safety protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 1 year of wet paint experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Employees must follow all information security policies and report security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality painted parts from blueprints with low rejection rate.
• Paint prep using sanding and grinding tools along with chemicals.
• Keep work space neat and organized.
• Show mutual respect for coworkers.
• Show up to work every day on time.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Overtime required when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols per JSA.
