Job summary

Snack Craft (master) is seeking an attentive packaging operator for our food production facility. The role involves ensuring products leave the plant correctly placed in pallets, trays or boxes and meet customer specifications.

The job requires standing for long shifts, lifting 5–15 pounds, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards under GMP/HACCP guidelines. Training may be provided for new personnel and NetSuite is used for material/work-order alignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and food safety.
• Ability to stand for full shifts and lift 5–15 lb.
• Experience in food packaging or packaging line operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows GMP, HACCP, and safety policies to ensure compliance.
• Performs packaging tasks: stacking, counting, sealing, bagging trays or boxes.
• Verifies code dates, weights, seals, and product appearance per client specs.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in packaging area; reports deficiencies.
• Coordinates with packing team for break relief and accurate documentation.
• Operates bagging equipment and verifies packaging quality.
• Supports training of new personnel and uses NetSuite for work orders.

Description: Responsible for the overall handling of final product ensuring all product leaves the plant, correctly placed in pallets, trays or boxes in compliance with customer specifications.Work Environment: This job operates in a food production and warehouse setting. The floor surface is concrete. The noise level is moderate with no vibration.
