Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 3rd Shift MRT Fill Off Attendants. This role covers filling off batches, sealing and labeling containers, and preparing goods for shipping. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered and shift differential applies.

Responsibilities include locating vats, pre-mixing materials, following batch ticket instructions, and maintaining a neat work area in a paint manufacturing setting. Prior basic skills in reading, math, and machine operation are desirable.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Reasoning ability: Ability to determine correctness of filling procedures against guidelines learned during training.

Responsibilities

• Locate appropriate vat to be filled off per batch ticket instructions.
• Pre-mix material in vat before filling.
• Locate appropriate materials (containers, strainers, equipment, etc.) per batch ticket and fill-off manuals.
• Bond and ground containers before filling.
• Obtain retain per batch ticket instructions.
• Apply labeling as instructed on batch ticket.
• Move finished goods to warehouse for shipping.
